Egg yolks, one of the best natural conditioning agents on earth. Long before synthetic surfactants and silicone serums, people washed with beaten egg yolks for their natural lipids and proteins, an at-home “gloss treatment” that left hair clean, yet cushioned.

That vintage method is trending again across social feeds for one reason: results. Our Vintage Egg Yolk Shampoo takes that heritage idea and perfects it for today.

This is a waterless concentrate with no preservatives and no fillers, only purposeful components chosen for performance. Dried egg yolks supply lecithin, cholesterol, and proteins that help hair feel sleek and conditioned. Jojoba, argan, and MCT oils add slip and softness without a heavy film. Coconut glycerin offers light hydration, while coconut milk rounds out the creamy feel. Choose a rosemary and cedarwood lift or go unscented for ultra-sensitive routines.

The result is a highly concentrated, low-foam wash that cleans without stripping. This leaves the scalp comfortable, and makes lengths easier to comb.

Where It's Made

Directions For Use:

1. Wet hair and scalp. Dispense a dime to nickel-size amount into palms.

2. Emulsify with a little water in your hands to build a soft lather.

3. Massage the scalp for 60 to 90 seconds; pull through lengths.

4. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat if you have heavy buildup.

5. Follow with your favorite conditioner or leave-in, as desired.

Pro tips:
This is a concentrate. Start with less, add more water in the shower to spread.

Keep water out of the bottle and close tightly. Never add water to bottle.

Patch test before first use. Avoid eyes. Discontinue if irritation occurs.

This Works! Hair feels Stronger!

My hair felt amazing even after a single use. When I use other over priced shampoos my hair still comes out dry and frizzy. With the egg yolk shampoo, my thin hair looks longer, shinier, and has volume! The smell isn’t the best but I know it’s so good for my hair so I look past that as this shampoo gives me real results. The strong scent doesn’t stay on my hair at all and whatever conditioner i use is what my hair smells like at the end so it’s no big deal.

wonderful stuff

Love this stuff! I gave it only 4 starts because the pump doesn't seem to give as much as I think it should. Maybe it's too cool here (in Wisconsin) and it needs to be a bit warmer for better flow? The product though is wonderful and makes my hair just feel good clean and moisturized! Thank you Sunny Soil!!

Not for long hair

I really like the tallow products including the deodorant, so thought I’d try the shampoo. The texture and smell is good however, I could not work it through my long hair. It just got more tangled. So sad. I wanted to like it.
Short hair will work its best on IMO.

Very clean hair!

This shampoo really does a good job of getting your hair thoroughly clean. I need conditioner because I'm older than dirt and my hair is very dry, but I'm pleased with the clean.
