A while back I developed several very itchy patches of skin that my old lotion just wasn't doing anything for. I had heard lots of good things about tallow and when I found this brand, with their prices and their values, I knew I wanted to give them a try.
I'm almost through my first 1oz tin and while my itchy spots aren't all gone, I can tell there's been a definite improvement.
Obviously a balm is different from a regular lotion and it takes a little getting used to the texture and application, but it seems to sink into my skin really well and doesn't leave me sticky or greasy.
I feel like the gingerbread scent should really be called cinnamon because that's all I really get from it. I was a little worried that anyone that smelled it might think I had been drinking fireball all day! Lol
Overall, I am happy with the product and am excited to try out some other scents!!
Was intrigued with this one having molasses rather than honey. Another fantastic balm with a great scent. Would definitely order again.

I got this & the pumpkin spice one, & love how both make my skin feel! Haven't tried it on my face yet bc that tends to be sensitive, but my hands & legs are a lot less dry! My absolute favorite part is that the tallow balm doesn't leave a greasy feel! My only "complaint" with this one is that I wish the scent were stronger! I love gingerbread & didn't quite get that from this.

I was very cautious about buying tallow balm, I'm vegetarian and was uneasy about using an animal product. I read the Sunny Soil story, read about the products and how their tallow is sourced. I decided to try it and am so glad I did! I pride myself on using natural, good for our planet, clean products and this is wonderful. I love the effects it's had on my skin. This family takes care to produce the best products. They took the time to write a personal note thanking me, and that means so much these days. Right here in the USA. Our products are formulated, packaged, and shipped in Winter Park, Florida.
Where Are Your Ingredients Sourced From?
Our tallow and honey are sourced from Florida. Some of our ingredients that we use are sourced from the USA and others are sourced from international regions. This is because ingredients like Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Argan Oil, Manuka Honey, etc. are native to their regions like Africa and New Zealand and cannot be sourced in the USA since they don't grow here. Additionally, our internationally sourced ingredients have undergone inspections in the USA to be certified by the USDA as organic.
